If You Don’t Run You Rust

We moved!!!

…uhh, didn’t you guys just move? Yep! Let’s address the elephant in the room first. Unfortunately, the building we were previously in wasn’t able to handle the logistics of our business. Everyone involved wanted it to work, but sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to cut your losses. And there was truly a lot of loss in this. If you remember from our last blog, for all of 2023 our “washout” (the part where we actually burn your gorgeous designs onto screens) was in our basement 30 minutes away from our shop. From driving between locations 2-3 times a day, to all nighters to try to gain that time back (not to mention the emotional rollercoaster of failing to make a circle fit into a square day after day and not knowing how to fix it), we knew it was time to move on.

Which brings us, literally, here! To our new shop!! And WE’RE SO EXCITED!!! Like, excessively excited. Bouncing around like caffeinated toddlers with a new puppy excited. We’re now located at 1930 Greenspring Dr in Timonium. If you’re local, it’s the back of the Earth Treks building (we know it’s “Movement” now, but some habits are hard to break). Right off 695/83 to make it incredibly convenient for pickups and consults or just stopping by to say hi. We’re also now able to source custom hard goods, like glassware, office supplies, and other items.

It took us about 1 month from the idea of moving to having our press re-installed. It helps that I have a family background in real estate and have a sick love of viewing properties and doing paperwork... But we have a lot of people to thank for making this happen:

-The team over at Blue & Obrecht Realty who rose to occasion to make our quick move possible

-An amazing press tech who flew out right before his family vacation to get us operational with only 2 days downtime

-Kyle at Cameron Group for coming through with a trailer and forklift with 3 days notice

-The best electrician (Westcoat Electric) and plumber (LJ Butler) who made magic happen for us

-Family who continues to blow us away with their support (pretty sure I’ve called my mom 5 times a day for the past month, which is 3 more times than usual - also pretty sure Nick’s dad must be entirely out of tools by this point)

-Incredible friends who were with us every single step of the way, including stress drinking/venting, physically moving our entire shop, demoing and building walls, and so much more

-Flexible clients who have been so understanding of our situation over the past month when we cut deadlines incredibly close and took a few extra days to respond

We’re really, really, REALLY lucky.

It will take us a few more weeks to make everything pretty (so. much. painting.) but we’re up and running and fully operational! During moments of doubt or frustration over the past year, you guys are what kept us going. No smoke blowing - that’s just the squishy truth. We’re so incredibly proud to be part of your lives. We literally wear your brands every day. We love cheering you on, like when bands go on tour, when breweries expand, and when companies hit new milestones. From tattoo shops to local sports teams - our day gets better every time we see you succeed. A small business is nothing without its neighborhood and we couldn’t be more grateful to be surrounded by such a strong community.

From the bottom of our over-caffeinated and very full hearts, thank you for letting us be part of your community and cheers to fresh starts!
